Dumpster Rental Questions and Answers

What is the Orange Line Policy? +

The Orange Line Policy is Kincaide's promise on every rental: there's an orange fill line inside every dumpster. Fill to the line and there are no surprise overage fees at pickup. Overfill above the line and debris can shift or fall out in transit, so there's a per-ton overage we quote up front before pickup. It's how we keep pricing honest and predictable for Newport homeowners.

Rubber wheel dumpster vs roll-off in Newport. Which one should I choose? +

For a residential driveway in Newport, choose the rubber wheel trailer. Traditional roll-offs get dropped on your driveway by a hydraulic arm and can crack concrete, gouge asphalt, or leave permanent rust rings. Our rubber wheel trailers sit on pneumatic tires and stay level on their own axles. The same reason boat and RV trailers don't damage driveways. Roll-offs are still the right call for commercial jobs, large-volume construction debris, or when you need 30 to 40 yards.

What to Know Before You Book a Dumpster in Newport

If you live in Newport, there is no city hall to call, because Newport is an unincorporated community inside Berlin Charter Township. The township office at 8000 Swan View Drive handles local services, and its number is 734-586-2187. For a cleanout, that office runs a Dump Day for residents, and what it allows is the real planning question. Our rubber wheel trailer rolls in on air filled tires, so a gravel or paved drive is not scored by steel.

The township runs a Dump Day at its office, and the rules show where it stops being enough. Residents get two visits, no more than three yards per visit, and you have to unload everything into the container yourself. It takes building demolition debris, but only one appliance per load, and only with a certification that the Freon was removed. Two visits at three yards is six yards in total. That is smaller than our 8 yard trailer, which is the one most people use for a garage cleanout.

A kitchen remodel fits the 15 yard, and a whole house cleanout fits the 20 yard. If the job is bigger than that, our roll-off dumpsters run from 10 to 40 yards. Tell us what is going in when you call and we will point you to the right size, with no trips to the township office and no unloading by hand. Call (734) 316-9372 before noon and same day delivery is available.
