Dumpster Rental in Westland, MI

Westland's curbside bulk pickup works well for a couple of items and runs out fast on a real cleanout. The city's sanitation division collects bulk every other week on your recycling day, and each service is limited to two bulk items or eight extra bags of trash. Carpet and padding, furniture, appliances, televisions, toilets and sinks are on the accepted list, and mattresses have to be wrapped in plastic.

Much of Westland grew right after World War II, and the Norwayne subdivision was built then to house returning soldiers. Houses that old tend to hold decades of belongings in the garage and basement. Two items every other week would take months to clear, so most full cleanouts go to a dumpster. The 8 yard size handles a garage, a 15 yard fits a kitchen remodel, and the 20 yard handles a whole house. Keeping it on your own driveway means nothing sits on the street. Our rubber wheel trailer goes on your driveway without steel touching the concrete.

Westland also asks for at least 4 feet between curbside bulk items and your bins, so bulk pieces need their own spot at the curb. Anything past the two item limit can go straight into the dumpster instead of waiting for the next pickup. Call (734) 316-9372 before noon and same day delivery is available.
